Dishonored: Dunwall City Trials Coming in December

One of my biggest criticisms/compliments about Dishonored is that, despite its ample 21-hour campaign, it left me wanting more missions, more areas of Dunwall to explore, more Dishonored! Turns out I'll get it. Arkane Studios announced this morning that three DLC packs are in the works, and the first, Dunwall City Trials, will put Corvo's gadgets, weapons, and supernatural powers to the test in December.
The Bethesda Blog reports that Dunwall City Trials will feature 10 challenge maps designed to test player combat, stealth, and mobility skills. For example, one trial features a battle arena where Corvo must face horde-mode-like waves of enemies. Of note, a global online leaderboard will be attached to Dunwall City Trials, designed to name the best assassin's in the world.

For those of you looking for a little more meat to go with the Trials potatoes, Arkane said that the second and third DLC packs will feature new story-driven campaigns. The second pack, set for release in spring 2013, will take place during the events of the core campaign and center around Daud, the leader of The Whalers assassins. Arkane notes that the choices made in this DLC will have an impact on Dishonored's ending.

Dunwall City Trials will sell for $5. No pricing yet on the Daud DLC or details on the third pack.

The Daud stuff sounds like a good direction to take Dishonored DLC, but I'd also like to see more of The Outsider in the third pack. What about you?
